God wants us to get out of the boat and walk with Him. That takes courage, but it’s worth it in the end. My knees have knocked together more times than I can count as I stepped out afraid. Sometimes, I was willing. Sometimes, it’s taken a little prodding and pruning too.
But our journey with God is about a process, not perfection. It’s actually part of God’s plan as He meets us in our everyday moments, in the midst of our success and the sweet moments we wish we could savor forever. But also in the midst of our fears and failures. So if that sounds like a journey you’re willing to take, why don’t you join me in the process of not being perfect, but seeking the One who is—Jesus.
God’s Word promises when we seek Him, we will find Him. My prayer is you do, more and more, to deeper depths.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.—Jeremiah 29:12-13 ESV
