My aim is authentic interaction as I share facets of my life and journey. Each blog post is designed with an opportunity for you to engage with questions for reflection and application. You may choose to work through those exercises independently.
However, it is also helpful to share learning and insights in Christian community as we explore what God has for us. In this world of connectivity, sometimes we miss out on real community. Make yourself comfy—think pajama day among girlfriends—as we catch up and share what God is doing in our lives and open ourselves up to learn what He desires to teach us.
My hope is to help others understand their worth and value in Christ and how that helps us live life differently. When we know who we are and understand our purpose, we become even bigger difference-makers in the world. My prayer for everyone who finds this blog is you know your worth and value and are never less than whom God made you to be: His masterpiece molded and fashioned for a unique purpose. You might say it’s a bit of a passion of mine.
The intention is to learn new things with one another along the way. What can we glean from Scripture or life experience? How can we learn from mistakes and move forward stronger, because we were willing to risk making them in the first place? The only way to never fail is to never try new things. But wait, wouldn’t it be riskier to stay right where we are? You bet! Bottled up potential that never gets released, that’s a mistake I don’t want any of us to make. Let’s learn together, so we fulfill all the potential God places within us!
You’ll find, too, that I often burst into prayer in many of my blog posts. I can’t seem to turn that off, even if I wanted to. Maybe that’s one of the best gifts I can give you, my reader, prayers lifted up on your behalf. If you ever need prayer, feel free to send me a private message. I would be honored to pray for you.
We will turn over some serious topics, but let’s not forget to have fun and laugh together along the way. When all else fails, we can cuddle up with a puppy.
Here’s a picture of me with mine. Little Enoch, the newest love of my life (now that he is fully potty trained)!
